EFBe certificates and testing seals help high end brands to successfully and effectively stand out from all other “me too” products.
Customers are able to apply for the certificate and/or testing seal documentation, in case of a successfully completed TRI TEST, already in the test order form. The following points must, however, be taken into consideration:
Certificates and testing seals for frame, fork, handlebar/stem, seatpost and crankset can be awarded on successful completion of EFBe TRI TEST.
To receive the certificate or testing seal, a declaration of conformity, subject to punishment in case of non compliance, must be supplied by the manufacturer. EFBe must be informed of any technical changes made to the production series compared to the respective test sample. This may result in a necessary retest.
Certificates and testing seals are only allowed for use on advertising media (catalogues, adverts, Internet, etc.), they are not, however, to be used on the product itself.
The validity period covers the calendar year of the test, as well as the following calendar year.
The test sample is archived by EFBe for inspection purposes until the end of the validity period. If the certificate/seal is then no longer being used for promotional purposes the test sample can be claimed. If it has not been claimed by the end of the validity period it is destroyed and disposed of.
The period of validity can be extended twice by a further two years.
